Enjoy spring fun for less!

Can’t wait to get outside and have fun at baseball games, parks and farmers’ markets? Here’s how to save while enjoying all your favorite outdoor springtime activities!

-

●1 Spend 50% less on sports tickets!

The easy way to get tickets for a wide variety of sporting events for up to half off—without worrying if they’re fakes: Head to Ticketmaster.com and click the “Deals” tab in the top menu. You’ll find 2-for-1 ticket deals and other money-saving discounts! Tip: Also do a search for “Ticketmaster” on Retailmenot.com and Offers.com—you can often find additional unadvertised coupon codes on these free coupon websites!

●2 Enjoy free days at parks!

Visiting national parks gives you the chance to explore monuments, historic sites, famous homes, dunes, cliff dwellings and more. And on the weekends of April 15th and 22nd, admission fees to 120 national parks are waived in commemoration of National Park Week! Can’t make it on those days? There are more than 280 other national parks that are free to visit all year-round! Find a national park near you at Nps.gov/ planyourvisit/ fee-free-parks.htm.

●3 Get bulk discounts at farmers’ markets!

Look forward to the delicious fresh fruits, berries and vegetables at your local farmers’ markets— but wish the price of locally grown and organic produce wasn’t so high? Ask for a bulk discount! Farmers often have a surplus of foods at peak season and are frequently willing to reduce their price when you buy large quantities! Tip: To get the most out of a bulk purchase of fresh produce, consider freezing, canning or drying it or dividing it among friends.

●4 Save at zoos and more!

If you and your family enjoy zoos, nature centers, arboretums, animal sanctuaries and other outdoor spring activities, visit the venue’s website before you plan your trip. Most offer one admission-free day per week and on holidays (such as Earth Day, which is April 22nd), discounts for certain groups (such as students, seniors and military families) and coupons that save you on tickets, food, special exhibits or attractions. Bonus: You’ll also find out about free events taking place, such as spring seed and plant giveaways!
