This no-sew kitty, stuffed and weighted with sand, turns into a super-cute doorstop!

1 Enlarge pattern (below) at 400% twice. Cut one around outer lines, one around inner lines. Your child cuts two pieces of fabric along outer line. She places one fabric piece, right side up, places inner pattern on top, applies glue to the fabric along the pattern’s edge onto fabric, leaving about 3" open on one side. She removes paper pattern, presses the second fabric piece on top, right side down, then lets glue dry completely.

2 Your child turns the pillow right side out and stuffs it with polyfill, first placing the bag of sand at the bottom. When finished, she glues the opening closed.

3 Your child glues on button eyes, cuts a small heart shape from the ribbon for nose and glues it on. She ties remaining ribbon around the kitten’s neck and glues the crystal heart to the center of the bow.
