Hang up a happy springtime welcome!

It’s so easy (and inexpensive) to turn spools of mesh ribbon into a bright springtime wreath! The craft pros at Michaels.com share the super-simple steps!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED ❏ 10 chenille stems in pink ❏ 18" Ashland wire

® wreath form in dark green 1 spool (5 1/2"x45') Celebrate It Mesh

® Ribbon in Baby Pink and Lime Green 1 spool (12"x35') Celebrate It Mesh

® Ribbon in Yellow 1 spool Ashland

® Paddle Wire (26-gauge) Faux daisies Faux butterflies 1 To create a pink mesh flower with yellow center: Cut a chenille stem in half and a 12" piece of yellow mesh. Roll the mesh into a tube and fold in half. Pinch and hold the center and loop the pink mesh (on the spool) around the yellow center, creating 5 petals in your hand. Then cut the pink mesh from the spool. Next, twist one end of the chenille stem around the base of the flower to secure. Repeat to create 10 flowers. 2 Position flowers evenly around the wire wreath form. Twist the other end of each chenille stem onto the form to secure. 3 To make a green mesh leaf: Loop about 12" of the green mesh (on the spool), make another loop, gathering both in your hand. Cut the end of the second loop from the spool. Twist the end of leftover half of chenille stem to secure bottom. Repeat to create 10 leaves. 4 Push a green leaf between each pink flower and secure the end of each leaf stem onto the wire form. For added stability, reinforce the stems by wiring them to the form with paddle wire. 5 Use paddle wire to attach daisies and butterflies to the wreath and to create a hanging loop in the back.
