Grilled Steak and Asian Noodle Salad
Shortcut three-ingredient marinade and dressing infuses sirloin steak, fresh veggies and pasta with authentic Asian flavor!
1/3 cup reduced-fat or regular Asian sesame dressing
1/3 cup hoisin sauce
2 Tbs. fresh lime juice
1 boneless beef top sirloin steak, 1" thick (about 1 lb.)
6 oz. uncooked whole-grain spaghetti
1 pkg. (8 oz.) sugar snap peas
1 medium red pepper, thinly sliced
1 cup packaged shredded carrots Toasted sesame seeds, optional
For marinade, combine dressing, hoisin and lime juice in small bowl. Place steak and 3 Tbs. marinade in plastic food storage bag; seal bag. Turn to coat steak; marinate in refrigerator 15 minutes or up to 2 hours, turning occasionally. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade until ready to use.
Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Place steak in center of grid on grill over medium, ash- covered coals. Grill, uncovered, 17-21 minutes (over medium heat on preheated gas grill, covered, 13-16 minutes) for medium- rare (145°F) to medium (160°F) doneness, turning occasionally.
Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions, adding vegetables during last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain. Combine spaghetti mixture with reserved marinade in large bowl. Evenly divide among 4 bowls. Carve steaks into slices. Evenly arrange beef over pasta and vegetables. If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
