A generous gift . . . for a goose!

I have a decorative ceramic goose in my front yard. I’ve named her Lucy and often see people snap photos of her as I dress her up in different hats and costumes. Recently, a woman I’d never met knocked on my door and handed me a bag. “Your goose is adorable! I have these little hats and outfits for a similar statue I used to have and was wondering if you’d like them,” she explained.“thank you so much!” I beamed, and immediately tried a new bonnet on Lucy—who, thanks to that lady, is now the best-dressed goose in town!
