Dou­ble- Cheese Sausage Pizza

A shot of hot sauce kicks up the heat in this in­dul­gent meaty pizza that’s sure to sat­isfy even the hearti­est of ap­petites

8 oz. Ital­ian sausage, cas­ings re­moved, crum­bled

1 (15–16 oz.) pkg. re­frig­er­ated pizza dough, at room temp.

3⁄ cup pizza sauce 4

1 Tbs. Frank’s Red­hot sauce

3⁄ cup shred­ded sharp Ched­dar cheese

4 3⁄ cup shred­ded moz­zarella cheese

4 1–2 scal­lions, sliced

1 tsp. chopped fresh oregano, op­tional

Heat oven to 450°F. Coat 17"x111⁄ 2" rimmed bak­ing sheet with cook­ing spray. Heat large non­stick skil­let over medium heat. Add sausage; cook, stir­ring, oc­ca­sion­ally, un­til no longer pink. Drain on pa­per tow­els.

On lightly floured sur­face, roll out dough into 18"x11" rec­tan­gle. Trans­fer to bak­ing sheet. Com­bine pizza and Red­hot sauces; spread over dough. Top with half of each cheese, then sausage. Top with re­main­ing cheeses. Fold 1⁄ 2" of dough edge over filling. Bake 12–15 min. or un­til crust is baked through and browned. Sprin­kle with scal­lions and, if de­sired, oregano.
