Woonsocket Lions Club invites new members

WOONSOCKET — The Woonsocket Lions Club is seeking civic-minded men and women to join in making a difference in the community. The club is hosting an information session on Wednesday, May 3, for people who want to learn more about the club and its work.

The information session will be held at Savini’s Restaurant, 476 Rathbun St., Woonsocket, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., and food will be provided. Nancy Phillips, the club president, encourages the public to come out and learn more about the club’s work.
