On June 25, the RI Lions Sight Foundation (RILSF) will be hosting our 10th Annual VIP Fishing Tournament for Visually Impaired Persons (VIP’s).

The half-day tournament will be held on a Frances Fleet party boat out of Galilee RI where the participants will be competing for one of several trophies.

The event is free of charge to the VIP’s and their guide. (Guides are provided for those that need them) The day includes; gifts, breakfast, and a half-day of fishing from (8AM- Noon) and is followed by lunch and awards at a Hanks’ Down South restaurant.

Also, the 3 top winners are eligible to represent RI at the Lions National VIP Fishing Tournament held on the Outerbanks of North Carolina and includes a New England Lions VIP Tourney, which currently includes RI, CT and MA.

There are over 2500 Visually Impaired Persons in RI and each year we try to reach a few more, and it is to that end that we ask you to please pass along information on this great opportunity.
