Sojourner House Masquerade Ball Friday evening at Biltmore

PROVIDENCE — Sojourner House will once again host its annual Masquerade Ball at the Providence Biltmore Hotel on Friday, Nov. 17, from 7 to 11 p.m.

This year’s theme, “Walk the Red Carpet,” channels the feel of Hollywood glamour through the ages. Entertainment will be provided by Chifferobe, including performances by the TropiGals, Glamorama, Michelle Cruz and Ameena. MC LuLu Locks will again host the evening, and Rhode Island Food Fights will sponsor a cake competition featuring seven local bakeries and celebrity guest judges.

In addition, Rhode Island’s most loved drag queen and entertainer, Miss Kitty Litter, is returning to Rhode Island to make a special guest appearance.

For the first time ever, Sojourner House anticipates selling out the event, filling the Biltmore Hotel Ballroom to its 500-person capacity. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, and guests, this Masquerade Ball is on track to raise a record-breaking $100,000, to help the Sojourner House achieve their mission to provide assistance to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
