Lucchese, Parker McCollum Team on Boot, Apparel Collection

- — J. E. P

Country music artist Parker McCollum is a Texas boy through and through. So it's no surprise that Lucchese, the El Paso- based bootmaker, signed him as an ambassador in the fall of 2022.

Now the fruits of that partnership are being revealed.

On March 22, the company will release the Lucchese x Parker McCollum Collection, a codesigned line of boots, apparel and accessories.

“When I connected with the team at Lucchese to design this collection, my goal was for these boots to feel like me, so I approached it the way I write my music,” McCollum said. “Just like my songs, I wanted to create something that people can see a bit of themselves in, that would feel timeless and would inspire folks in their day-to- day, something Lucchese is already really good at.”

The boots are all handmade in Texas and inspired by the brand's horseman style. The Evening Patriot features a floral design in sueded caiman with a five- rose quarter inlay, a signature of the singer. The Hollywood Gold celebrates McCollum's grandfather's champion cutting horse and is made from ostrich. The Silhouette was inspired by a song on his 2015 album, "The Limestone Kid," and has a black repello toe and gray ossidio suede quarters. The final model, The Ruger, is named after McCollum's chocolate Labrador retriever in bison and ocean made dog goat with an oil and slip- resistant outsole and injected mirrored- L pod allowing for better grip on uneven surfaces. Prices range from $ 745 for the Ruger to $ 2,995 for the Evening Patriot.

The shirts are branded Lucchese x Parker McCollum T-shirts and retail for $98 while the belts range from $149 for suede or bison to $339 for caiman. The hats, which are baseball caps with script lettering, are offered in white or gray for $65 or one limitededition navy version for $95. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the hats will benefit The Ruger Fund, McCollum's charity.

“When I first met Parker, I instantly knew he was the artist for us because of how well he practices the same mission in his own work," said Doug Kindy, president of Lucchese. "We appreciate the way Parker is swiftly captivating the music industry and audiences with his take on American western culture through music, all while maintaining a strong sense of self.”

The Lucchese x Parker McCollum Collection will be available at all Lucchese retail locations and on the brand's website.
