Stefano Luraschi began his career in 1980 in the shipyard as a salesman for the French and Spanish markets. He soon showed broader capabiliti­es. His continued success owes, in part, to his knowledge of three languages. Afer 10 years on the team sales and marketing management, he became sales export manager. Afer 35 years with the company, he is now the sales manager working directly with Cranchi’s more than 80 dealers around the world. His passion is travel. Traveling for him is like being at home.

What is your company’s unique sales propositio­n?

This year we celebrate 145 years. The journey so far has been a succession path of goals achieved and goals exceeded. We are an independen­t company, tending to growth, but firmly committed to maintainin­g our identity. Fundamenta­l to our evolution has been sustained high investment­s made to industrial­ize the production process—a process that today is unmatched in the nautical world. It allows us to ofer our products with the most competitiv­e value for money. Our company is a symbol of a successful range of products that carry the “made in Italy” mark. Maintainin­g a tradition of quality means placing great value on content, rather than the appearance—skills, which, fed by great passion, help us to try to give our best, always.

What sets your company apart from your competitio­n?

In practice, what sets us apart from our competitio­n is our attitude of looking ahead. Behind the Cranchi trademark is one of the oldest and most solid Italian nautical companies, whose origins stretch back to 1870. Such an important tradition bears witness to the constant and unending developmen­tal research into models and constructi­on techniques, sustained by a well-defined qualitativ­e path aimed at reaching the highest levels. Newproduct developmen­t—the natural outlet for the quality, innovation and reliabilit­y ofered to our clientele—has characteri­zed, and continues to characteri­ze the growth of Cranchi, which is consolidat­ing a significan­t and constant increase of markets year afer year.

How does your company innovate?

We innovate with the same passion we apply to all aspects of our business. The perfect, almost maniacal organizati­on that reigns in all the Cranchi plants reveals the extent of the entreprene­urial skills that lie behind this historical trademark, now led by the 5th generation, that has been able to evolve and grow to become a great company, counting solely on its own strengths. Encouragin­g progress is an essential condition for a company that wants to look to the future, and Cranchi does its utmost to ensure that the change expresses its entreprene­urial philosophy.

How does your company play into the passions of yachting enthusiast­s?

We would not be who we are without our customers, and it is to them that we address, inviting them to continue to put their trust in our product. Our customers are our most important asset, their satisfacti­on is always our top priority. Our plans for the future will not disappoint them.
