NEW SUPERYACHT BUILDER IN ITALY

Rosetti Superyachts, an offshoot of the Rosetti Marino Group, is no stranger to building vessels. Established in 1925, Rosetti Marino S. p. A. has been engineering and building commercial ships, tugs, ferries and supply vessels. Fulvio Dodich ( pictured at right), who previously held management positions at Ferretti and Sanlorenzo, is partner and chairman at Rosetti Superyachts, which has tapped Italian designer Tommaso Spadolini to develop concept yachts from 157 feet ( 48 meters) to 279 feet ( 85 meters). The first is a 279- foot expedition supply vessel of 2,200 gross tons with MTU engines and a Rolls- Royce propulsion system.
