Thankfully social distancing has not impacted my ability to be with horses. Since it’s still safe for me to go, I enjoy spending my extra time with them. Horses have helped me feel happy when I’m sad and kept my spirits high, especially a Mustang I have been helping gentle, named JazzyBoomerang. It makes me happy to know that horses can sense how you feel, even if it feels like people can’t understand. Staying home more often has allowed me to study for horse testing and work at training JazzyBoomerang. Being kept away from my friends has made me sad, but when this is all over, I will be overjoyed to see them. I will be sure to give thanks to the horses and people that have helped keep me and others happy.
