Yuma is linked to a convenient and modern highway system. Interstate 8, which passes through Yuma, takes drivers to San Diego to the west, and Phoenix and Tucson to the east.And you follow Highway 95 north from Yuma, you’ll come to Interstate 8,which leads to Los Angeles one way and Phoenix in the other direction.
RAIL SERVICE
Yuma is served by Amtrak at the platforms adjacent to the station building site, 281 S. Gila St. in Yuma. Passenger rail service is provided thrice-weekly in each direction by the Sunset Limited, combined with the Texas Eagle over this portion of its route.
BUS SERVICE
Bus passengers can purchase tickets at the Yuma Greyhound bus station at 2715 E. 14th St. and catch buses at the Yuma County Area Transit bus stop at 1245 Castle Dome Ave., located in the Yuma Palms Regional Shopping Center.Yuma serves as the midpoint for Greyhound Lines service between Phoenix and San Diego with the nearest point to transfer to northbound routes being Calexico, Calif.
AIRLINES
Air transportation is served by the Yuma International Airport, 2191 E.32nd St.American Airlines provides up to four round-trip daily flights between Yuma and Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix.
