President’s list

• Caleb Haney, of Yuma, made the fall 2016 president’s list at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. Haney, a freshman business administration major, earned a 3.75 or higher grade-point average for the semester.

• Connor Davis, of Yuma, made the fall 2016 president’s list at Champlain College in Burlington, Vt. Davis, majoring in business management, achieved a 4.0 or higher grade-point average.

• Ali Sangerman, of Yuma, made the fall 2016 president’s list for the college of graduate and professional studies at Trine University in Angola, Ind. Sangerman, studying computer science, maintained 12 credit hours and a minimum 3.75 grade-point average.

Alejandro Romero Mendez

Alejandro Romero Mendez, of Yuma, has served with Mexico Outreach during the fall semester at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif. Romero Mendez is a Biblical studies major.

Mexico Outreach was founded on the principle that young people of all ages can be effective in sharing the gospel.
