William Matthew Lee, 67, died April 2, 2017, at his home in Yuma. Born Dec. 14, 1949 in Phoenix, he was the president of an insulation company and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Services are pending. Johnson Mortuary is handling the arrangemen­ts.

Michael Joseph Johnson

Michael Joseph Johnson, 67, died March 28, 2017, in Las Vegas.

Born April 25, 1949, in Fort Yuma, Calif., he was an iron worker for 30 years and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Catholic Mission, with a cremation scheduled at dawn Friday at Quechan Cemetery.

Yuma Mortuary and Crematory is handling the arrangemen­ts.

James “Jimmie” Campos Zermeno

James “Jimmie” Campos Zermeno, 82, died March 31, 2017, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

Born Feb. 25, 1935, in Yuma, he was a supervisor for the railroad and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Visitation is scheduled for today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Yuma Mortuary and Crematory, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church.

Benigno Martinez Guzman

Benigno Martinez Guzman, 87, of Somerton died March 30, 2017, in Mesa.

Born Oct. 31, 1929, in San Diego de Alajandria, Jalisco, Mexico, he was a retired agricultur­al worker.

A wake is scheduled for Friday at Desert Valley Mortuary Chapel from 5 p.m. to midnight, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Deacon Ernesto Jaramillo will officiate. A Requiem Mass is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, with Father Alfonso Garcia Ramos officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn.

Desert Valley Mortuary is handling the arrangemen­ts.
