First Take

This week I spotted a sign on a restroom wall with the instruction DON’T FLUSH with a list of generally expected bathroom items such as diapers and medications.

But when Hopes, Dreams, Kittens and Puppies showed up on the list, I took a double take.

Then yesterday I spotted a sign in a Borrego Springs vacation resort to warn drivers to take care by spelling out SLOW, ADULTS AT PLAY.

This light humor definitely got the point across and at the same time likely brightened their visitor’s day.

I know I appreciated it and had a good chuckle.
