Garrett Mckennan carded plus 5.8 quota points to win the Mesa Del Sol quota play on Monday morning. Nancy Holmes took second with 5.38 points and Hank Browning took third with 4.97 points.

The next Desert Hills Men’s Golf Associatio­n Tournament will be played on Saturday and will be an Individual Pro Points format. Players may contact Bruce Clark at 580-6436 or at bclark911@yahoo.com for entry or additional informatio­n.

Steve Parrish was the top winner in the Mesa Del Sol “Pinky’s Pick” play on Wednesday morning. Al Johnson took second and Dave Doherty took third. The skin winners were Hank Browning, Nancy Holmes, Jack Parker, Bill Beulke and Bob Rehn.

On Tuesday at Las Barrancas Golf Course the Men’s Sliver Gross score winners were Troy Riechert, John Cullen and Brian Healy. The net score winners were Tom Blose, Ron Gapp and John Cullen.

Mesa Del Sol will host a Father’s Day Scramble on Saturday. The competitio­n will include Parent and Junior net and gross divisions and for adults, and a Father and Son and a Father and Daughter division. Cost is $40 per team. Sign up in the pro shop. Entry fees must be paid by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

On Wednesday at Foothills Golf Course, the men’s gross score winners were Ken Kingston, Jim Hartley and John Newberry. The net score winners were John Newberry Jim Hartley and Ken Kingston.

The Desert Hills Pro Shop is sponsoring a “3 Dukes and a Queen” Captain’s Choice golf tournament with 10 percent of the team handicap applying on the 4th of July with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start. Women will play the red tees and men will play the white tees. The $25 per player entry fee includes green fees, cart fees, range balls and gift cards for the winners. Players may contact the pro shop for entry or additional informatio­n. The team makeup will be one woman and three men.

On May 30 in the Women’s Twilight League at Mesa Del Sol Golf Course, Tiffany Humer and Billie Ward took first place in the two-person scramble with a net 31.57. Pam Upayokin and Shannon Mason took second with a net 34.35. The closest-to-the-pin winners were Shannon Mason on the fifth hole and Tiffany Humer on the eighth hole.

Daphne Stone posted a net score of 70 to win the Desert Hills Ladies Ace of the Month play on Tuesday morning. Heather Comeau took second and Connie Chapman took third. The skill shot winners were Diane Comeau, Heather Comeau and Connie Chapman.

On Thursday at Las Barrancas Golf Course, the Men’s Copper gross score winners were Troy Riechert, Brian Healy and John Cullen. The net score winners were Lee Estes, Fred Fries and George Christophe­r.
