Gilbert Demara Sr.

March 21, 1939 - July 19,2017

Gilbert Demara Sr. 78, was a father, brother, uncle, and grandfather/great-grandfather and most of all a very kind hearted very hard working man. Always making sure he provided for the family.

Our father was the Patriarch of the Demara family, he was a very hard worker since an early age, always working to provide for his family. He was also a great jokester who was always making us laugh.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Esperanza of 57 years, his children, Martha (Leonardo), Gilbert Jr. (Sandra), Hector, Francisco (Cecilia), and Carlos (Brenda). His Grandchildren: Franky, Bianca, Aymet, Isaac, Nikalaus, Grace and Jacob and his greatgranddaughter Arianna.

His siblings: Alejandro, Francisco, Manuel, Robert, Tony, Jerry, Stella, and Norma.

Preceded in death by his grandson Joshua and his siblings Susanna, and Yolanda

Services will be Sunday July 23, 2017 at Yuma Mortuary from 5 pm to 9 pm Rosary at 7 pm. Monday July 24, 2017 mass at 9 am at Guadalupe Mission.

A big thank you to the staff at Davita Edge River Dialysis, Tower 2 and 2 West nurses at YRMC, nurses from Transitional Care and to Hospice of Yuma. You took really good care of our Dad/ Husband and for that we are truly grateful.

We will miss you dad, we know you are no longer suffering, your pain is gone and you can now rest. We know you will be watching over us.
