Julia O. Medina, 87, of Somerton, died Aug. 28, 2017, in Yuma.

Born March 16, 1930, in Somerton, she was a homemaker.

A wake will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Somerton, with rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn.

Desert Valley Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Miguel Solis

Miguel Solis, 66, of Yuma, died Aug. 28, 2017, in Yuma.

Born Sept. 17, 1950, in Elenburg, Texas, he was an agricultural worker.

A wake will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Desert Valley Mortuary Chapel, with rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be 6 p.m. Friday at the church.

Desert Valley Mortuary is handling arrangements, including private cremation.

Michael Henry Salas

Michael Henry Salas, 42, a former resident of Yuma, died Aug. 25, 2017, at his home in Tempe, Ariz.

Born April 22, 1975, in Yuma, he was a cook.

A wake will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Yuma Mortuary Chapel, with rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission.

Regina T. Gurule

Regina T. Gurule, 103, of Yuma, died Aug. 29, 2017, in Yuma.

Born Nov. 6, 1913, in Ocate, N.M., she was a retired housekeeper.

No services are planned. Desert Valley Mortuary is handling arrangements, including private cremation.
