The Yuma Main and Foothills libraries will offer the following workshops in September for participants in National Novel Writing Month: • Once Upon a Time: My NaNo Story. This
is a workshop for those considering taking up the writing challenge. It is offered today at the Foothills Library, 13226 E. South Frontage Road, from 3 to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Yuma Main Library, 2951 S. 21st Drive. • My Character: Not Another Goldilocks. Learn
how to craft exciting, well-developed characters, analyze some famous characters to determine what make them interesting, and discuss character names and archetypes.
