Beverly Priest

November 27, 1935 - September 12, 2017 Beverly passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Yuma, Arizona with her three daughters by her side. She was born to the late John Wesley Carter and Sarah Rankin Carter in Great Bend, Kansas on November 27, 1935. She was a homemaker. She worked for fifteen years in the cafeteria / snack bar at Yuma High School. Beverly married Robert Priest on February 8, 1954. They raised three daughters Connie, Teresa and Susan and one son Rod in a very loving home. She was a faithful Christian and a long-time member of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church. Up until her and Bob's health declined you could find them both at their grandchildren's sporting events. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Priest and son, Rod Priest and grandson Corbet. She is survived by daughters Connie Fike (Ron), Teresa James (Mike) and Susan Pancrazi (Mark) and daughterin-law, Dottie Priest. 9 grandchildren, Shannon Porter (Mike), Ron Jr., Ryan Priest (Stephanie), Curtis Priest (Andrea), Beau James, Hannah Marks (Brian), Nick Pancrazi, Chase Pancrazi and Luke Pancrazi. 10 Great Grandchildren, Timothy, Alexa, Ericka, Austin, Landon, Miles, Harper, Mason, Hunter and Thomas. Beverly had a smile for everyone. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, Aunt and friend to many. She will be missed by everyone that was blessed to know her. A special thanks to the Staff at Desert Rose, Copper Place and Hospice of Yuma for their exceptional care, kindness and support. There will be a visitation on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Johnson Mortuary at 9:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. then a private graveside gathering for the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Country Club immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Yuma, 1824 S 8th Ave, Yuma, Arizona 85364.

Diane M. Weeks

April 21, 1942 - Sept 15, 2017 Diane Weeks passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sept 15, 2017. Diane was born in San Diego on April 21, 1942. She leaves her husband Jon Weeks, the love of her life for the last 35 years. Also surviving her are daughters Tammy Knolle of Yuma, Debbie Acosta of Las Cruces, NM., Donna {Gary) Urquhart of Yuma and David (Chris) Knolle of Yuma, Sister Joan Johnson of Idaho and brothers Gary and Darwin Lepper of San Diego.. Diane had seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Diane was a hotel manager and when her and Jon retired, they became active in the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church (SOTH). Memorial service will be held at SOTH on Sat. Sept 23 at 11:00am. SOTH is located in the Foothills at 11201 E 38th Pl just off Fortuna Rd.
