In Custody
The following fugitives who previously appeared in the Yuma’s Most Wanted column in the Yuma Sun have been arrested and are back in local custody:
• Stella Diaz — originally convicted and sentenced to a term of probation for count two, possession of drug paraphernalia, a class 6 felony. She absconded from supervision but was apprehended on Sept. 24 and incarcerated in the Yuma County jail.
• Cherie Monique Bassist — originally convicted and sentenced to a term of probation for count three, possession of marijuana, a class 6 felony. She absconded from supervision but was apprehended on Sept. 24 and incarcerated in the Yuma County jail.
• Lillian Stimpson — originally convicted and sentenced to a term of probation for amended count one, attempted importation of a dangerous drug, a class 3 felony. She absconded from supervision but was apprehended by law enforcement in North Carolina and incarcerated in the Rutherford County jail, and will be extradited to the Yuma County jail.
• Ricardo Meza — originally convicted and sentenced to a term of probation for amended count one, criminal trespass in the first degree, a class 6 felony. He absconded from supervision but was apprehended on Sept. 25 and incarcerated in the Yuma County jail.
