YUHSD hosts career fair for students

High school students around Yuma County and Winterhaven will get to explore their job or higher education options on Tuesday at a career fair offered by the Yuma Union High School District.

Yuma High School, 400 S. 6th Ave., will host the annual College, Career & Military Fair beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Representatives from universities, community colleges, military academies, military branches, the private sector and other organization will be on hand to talk to students about job or educational opportunities they offer.

The fair also includes sessions on how to apply for federal student aid.

Attendance is open to the public.
