• NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced he’s decided to change the format of the NBA All-Star game in 2018 which was previously an East-West contest. The commissioner has a perfect sense of the American mood right now. The game is going to be the North vs. the South.

• The National Football League swirled in controversy Sunday over players on some teams who won’t stand for the Anthem with sponsors pulling their TV commercials. Still, league marketing is smart. To jack up online sales, they send you a free can of lighter fluid with each NFL jersey you buy.

• President Trump spent Wednesday consoling the people of Las Vegas after spending a month consoling the people of Texas, the people of Florida, and the people of Puerto Rico. It’s starting to get to him, Last night at dinner, President Trump told his steak he’s so sorry it had to end like this.

• House leaders hinted Friday that Obamacare repeal and the tax cut debate may drag into the next year. Members draw their full salaries if they pass nothing. Congressmen must drive their own cars in Washington D.C. because cab drivers refuse to pick up people who are statistically likely to rob them.

I have been hoping the city would finally do something about the hardness of our water but so far, no luck. I am tired of the city water I pay for damaging everything it touches, i.e. pool decks, sidewalks, driveways, etc. It is high time we force the city to drastically lower the hardness of our water.

After the Las Vegas massacre, tell me, all you zealous gun-control advocates; where in America can I buy a fully automatic weapon? I wish to protect myself against the numerous executioners who have full automatic weapons with which they execute their fellow Americans.

Fully automatic weapons are already “controlled” by America’s “gun-control” laws. But like the 10 Commandments: controls are useless if a person chooses to ignore them.

Advocates of gun control, open your blind eyes and your thoughtless minds. Realize every time you open your mouths to spew out your ludicrous ideas, you are truly showing the entire world, especially those who still possess a modicum of common sense, your total inability to think, particularly about your very own well-being and survival.

Bingo! I’ve turned 90. When I was a kid, folks moved from here to there on the back of an animal. Since then, we have sent a spacecraft

In viewing the nightly national news, I am appalled over seeing the radicals on our college campuses whom in order to push their agenda are destroying property and acting more like animals as they cost the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.

They are coming across as radicals of the worst kind who are out to destroy everything our country once stood for. To say as to who it is that is behind the movement we see sweeping our country, whom are obviously out to overthrow our Constitution and what it stands for.

My question is this: Do we allow them to continue protesting as a means of their taking the country down, or do we do what is done in many foreign countries in order to put a final stop to such behavior? As it stands, from what I gather from those whom I speak with daily, people are beginning to express a real fear over the direction we are taking.

Are we not smart enough to know that if our government doesn’t find a means of putting a stop to all this and soon, we will be forfeiting our country to a very sick and dangerous new set of leaders. That America will no longer exist as we’ve known it.
