The 25th anniversar­y of Willies Couples play, each Sunday morning, will start Nov. 5 at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course. Players may contact the pro shop at 928342-1283 for entry or additional informatio­n.

Bob Blair was the winner in the Mesa Del Sol quota play Monday, with David Henager taking second place. Garrett McKeeman finished in third, and Steve Parrish was the fourthplac­e finisher.

Betty McGrath was the top winner in the DHWG “Pick Your Best Nine” play at the Las Barrancas Golf Course on Tuesday, with Lola Stone and Heather Comeau tied for second place. The KP winners were Trish Steffey, Connie Chapman, Daphne Stone and Bette McGrath.

Jimmy Billisbach, teamed with Al Voorhies, Donna Morris and Joey Christenso­n for a scrambling nine-hole score of 34 to win the Moose Lodge weekly play at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Tuesday. The two teams that tied for second place with a score of 35 were: Bob Peterson, Diana Bird, Maxine Gatti and Bob Lauer; and Christian, Doug Bellamy and Dan Gilmore.

Felix Ochoa aced the 17th hole at the Desert Hills Golf Course on Friday. Ochoa used an 8-iron from 155 yards into a severe cross wind.

Jack Parker was the top winner in the “Pinky’s Pick” play at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Wednesday. The remaining winners were Bill Slade, Bob Blair, Stephen Martin, Ray Butler, Carol Roland, Mike St. Claire and Gale Mabey. The skin winners were Bob Blair, Carol Roland, David Henager, Jim Mitchell, Stephen Martin, Wayne Gunion, Jack Parker, Ray Butler, Mike St. Claire and Hammering Hank Browning.

“Hammering” Hank Browning carried teammate Stephen Parrish to a first-place finish in the gross division of the Mesa Del Sol MGA play on Friday. Wayne Gunion and David Henager were the netdivisio­n winners (welcome back, snow birds), with Jack Parker and Garry Sletten taking second place in the net division. The skin winners were Steve Parrish, Hank Browning, Bob Rehn, Jack Parker, David Henager, Sam Samples and Wayne Gunion.
