Maurice M. Payne, 86, of Yuma, died Nov. 3, 2017, in Yuma. Born Aug. 7, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was an electronic technician for the U.S. government and veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A viewing will be 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Vista Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.

Antonia N. Gomez

Antonia N. Gomez, 80, of Yuma, died Nov. 3, 2017, at Yuma Regional Medical Center. Born Feb. 6, 1937, in Mexico, she was a laborer. A viewing will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Yuma Mortuary Chapel, with rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn.

James Francis Schultz

James Francis Schultz, 85, of Yuma, died Nov. 2, 2017, in Yuma.

Born May 12, 1932, in Moorefield, Neb., he was a chief for the border patrol and veteran of the U.S. Army.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Vista Funeral Home Chapel.

Sunset Vista Funeral Home is handling arrangements, including private cremation.

Kirby ‘Deeno’ Clinton Dugan Jr.

Kirby “Deeno” Clinton Dugan, Jr., 36, of Somerton, died Oct. 25, 2017, at Yuma Regional Medical Center. Born Aug. 31, 1981, in Yuma, he was a homemaker. A viewing will be 2 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Yuma Mortuary Chapel, with funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. at East Cocopah Cry House. Cremation will be at dawn Saturday at East Cocopah Cemetery.

Christina Ruth Nichols

Christina Ruth Nichols, 18, a former resident of Yuma, died Nov. 4, 2017, in Phoenix.

Born Feb. 12, 1999, in Phoenix, she was a dietary aide for a nursing home.

A funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Quechan Big House. Cremation will be at dawn Saturday at Quechan Cemetery.

Agustin Botello

Agustin Botello, 29, of Yuma, died Nov. 3, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. He was born Aug. 18, 1988, in Mexicali, BCN, Mexico. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Judas Thadeo Catholic Church in San Luis, Ariz. Viewing will be 5 to 9 p.m. at Yuma Mortuary Chapel, with rosary at 7 p.m.

Donnie Faye Armitage

Donnie Faye Armitage, 84, died Nov. 5, 2017, at her Yuma home.

Born Dec. 13, 1932, in Flomaton, Ala., she was a homemaker.

A viewing will be 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 13 at Yuma Mortuary Chapel, with funeral services at noon. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn.

Theresa Stevens

Theresa Stevens, 46, of Yuma, died Nov. 4, 2017, in Yuma. Born Dec. 16, 1970, in Tacoma, Wash., she was a homemaker.
