The Yuma Area Veteran’s Associatio­n’s fourth annual “Toy Drive Golf Tournament” will be played Saturday at Mesa Del Sol with an 8 a.m. shotgun start and is a four-person team scramble format. Sean Toomey and Jeremy Caddell posted a gross best ball 65 to win the DHMG play last Saturday morning with Eric Stechman and Dan Duram taking second. Roy Browning and Rick Faris were the net winners with Mike Richardson and Dnrique Neri taking second net. The skin winners were Bob Enders and Steve Hobbs, and Rian Bass and Fred Dammeyer.

In the Fortuna De Oro Friday mixed league scramble on Nov. 3, the winners were Wendy Kennedy, Bill Hansen, Evie Moore and Pat Ginter. Second place went to the team of Fae Baker, Everett Ostrum, Barry Moore and Shirley Couse. The third-place finishers were Kraig Knutson, Ione Apling, Ann Nicholls and Jane Morrow.

Wayne and Joan Webb teamed with Dave and Judy Hueppelshe­user to win the gross division of Willies Couples weekly play at Mesa Del Sol last Sunday morning. Darla and Willie Peterson teamed with Marlene Kisner and Conrad Becker for a net score of 59.7 to win the net division.

Cheryl Mikkola shot a 48 to win the Mesa Del Sol Ladies first flight of the “Baker’s Dozen” Play on Monday morning with Terri Paden and Connie Donner tied for second. Donna Conzelman won the second flight with a score of 48 with Lori Lambert in second. In the third flight, Phyllis Mashurn and Sally Manley tied for first place while JoAnn Givens took third.

On Monday at the Foothills Par 3 Golf Course in the men’s league, the gross score winners were Billy Taylor, Dave Fritz and Michael Costello. The net score winners were Billy Taylor, Al Smith and Michael Costello.

Duncan Fisk teamed with Murray MacDonald, Mike Mikkola and Alan Young to win the Can/Am weekly play at Mesa Del Sol on Monday morning. Second place went to Ron Breault, Garry Sletten, Bill Pearson and Bill Slade. The deuce winners were Ken Givens, Joe Padden, Jake Fehr and Duncan Fisk. The KP winners were Warren Ohland and Bob Dunnigan.

In the Fortuna De Oro Tuesday Men’s League, the winners were Gerry Morrow, Leonard Apling, Chuck Arntsen and Jim Phillips. Second place went to the team of Harry Viznei, Pete Braconnier, Fred Reed and Darwyn Manz. Third place went to Kraig Knutson, Dave Dickey, Ron Siring and Jerry Klamp.

On Tuesday at the Foothills Par 3 Golf Course in the ladies league, the gross score winners were Sandra Haun, Loretta Schnieder and Va Loy Roe. The net score winners were Laura Nyberg, Carol Keirle and Linda Murphy.

Bette McGrath was the Desert Hills Ladies “Ace of the Month” winner on Tuesday morning. Sue Janney won the first flight “Tin Whistle Play” while Cheryl Mikkola took second. Gloria Gentry won the second flight with Karen Hitchins in second. Bette McGrath and Trish Steffey tied for first place in the third flight. The KP winners were Cheryl Mikkola, Karen Gallagher, Heather Comeau and Connie Chapman.

On Tuesday at Las Barrancas in the men’s silver league, the gross score winners were Keith Planadin, Al Somers and Brian Healy. The net score winners were Jim Blakely, Dennis Handel and Lane Leonard.

Three teams tied for first place in the weekly Moose Lodge scramble play at Mesa Del Sol on Tuesday morning. The teams were Randy Labrasseur, John Coffers, Shirley Patterson and Carol Johnson; and Bill Barnhart, Evelyn Pribble, Jack Schenck and Joey Christenso­n; and Jack Henson, John Kennedy and Al Voorhies.

On Wednesday at the Foothills Executive Golf Course in the men’s league, the gross score winners were Dave Fritz, Lee Estes and Mark Parks. The net score winners were Lee Estes, Al Smith and Dale McKee.

In the Fortuna De Oro Wednesday Couples best ball league play, the winners were Phil Mapplebeck, Barb Pettit, Bruce Clarkston and Eileen Clarkston. Second place went to Barry Moore, Evie Moore, Howard Trapnell and Clara Trapnell. Ione Apling, Leonard Apling, Kim Chesnovar and Terry Chesnovar took third place.

Mike Mikkola was the first-place winner in “Pinky’s Pick” play at Mesa Del Sol on Wednesday morning with Henry Browning in second. Garry Sletten took third, Jack Parker took fourth, David Doherty took fifth and Cheryl Mikkola took sixth. The skin winners were David Doherty, Mike Mikkola, Bob Blair and Garry Sletten.

On Wednesday at Las Barrancas, the ladies league gross score winners were Dorothy Gartner, Sherry McIvor and Loretta Schnieder. The net score winners were Sherry McIvor, Dorothy Gartner and Connie Brown.

In the Mesa Del Sol Fall Mixed Chapman league, Joan and Wayne Webb were first gross with a 75. Phyliss Mashburn and Sam Humer were first net with a 64.

On Thursday at the Foothills Executive Golf Course, the ladies league gross score winners were Loretta Schnieder, Val Willick and Brenda Willick. The net score winners were Sherry McIver, Dorothy Gartner and Connie Brown.

In the Fortuna De Oro Thursday Ladies League “Par 4s” play, the gross score winners were Wendy Kennedy, Phyllis Duffy and Joan Ronholdt. The net winners were Kim Chesnovar, Lois Dickey and Rose Wilson.

On Thursday at Las Barrancas, the men’s copper gross score winners were Troy Riechert, Frank Russell and Dave Fritz. The net score winners were Wayne Frisher, Mark Parks and Doug Anderson.

Anita Wicks was the first flight gross score winner in the Mesa Del Sol Ladies “Mutt and Jeff” play on Thursday morning with Marilyn Cotter winning the second flight. Pam Brown won the third flight and Phyllis Mashburn was the gross score winner in the fourth flight. The net flight winners were Barb Sanders, Iris Pallas, Lorraine Breault and Sally Manley. The skin winners were Shannon Mason, Donna Lalonde, Barb Sanders, Anita Wicks, Pam Upayokin, Sandy Blair, Connie Donner, Phyllis Mashburn, Pam Brown, JoAnn Givens and Iris Pallas.
