Debi Mohr and Sheila Rindal carded a two-day, best-ball score of 172 to win the overall gross division of the WGA Pals Tournament played at the Country Club on Tuesday and Thursday. The winners of the net division were Carma Graham and Sharon Anderson with a best-ball, two-day total 126.

In the “Friend Flight,” Dorothy Ammerlaan and Linda Abercrobmb­ie were the gross best-ball winners at 177, with Elaine Davis and Claudia Campbell winning the net division with a best-ball score of 130. Jeanette Golko and Kathie Bone won second net at 131, and Donna Muller and Bonnie Jackson were the thirdplace net best-ball winners with a 138.

In the “Buddy Flight,” Judy Cuming and Joy Mueller won the gross division with a best-ball 194, and Rosie Good and Jeannie McFarland won the net division with a best-ball 133. Tami Harmon and Carla Peterson won second net with a best-ball 135, with Ellen Scott and Dot Gardner taking third net with a best-ball 140.

A Senior Stroke Play Championsh­ip Golf Tournament is scheduled to be played at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course from Jan. 13-14, with the deadline for entry set for 5 p.m. Wednesday. The $75 entry fee includes green fees, cart and range balls. Players may contact the pro shop at 928-342-1283 for entry or additional informatio­n.

At the Fortuna Del Oro Golf Course in the Friday mixed-league, best-ball play Dec. 29, the winners were Rheal Hery, Darlene Barber, Tigger Schnureur and Dodie Clapper. Second place went to Brenda Morden, Ron Siring, Bob Duffy and Del Olson. Jerry Morden, John Morris, Chris Fyanes and Darrill Outland taking third place. On Dec. 29 at the Las Barrancas Golf Course, the men’s Copper, Silver and Gold gross winners were Carl Fritz, John Cullen and Frank Russell. The net winners were Paul Cook, Mark Parks and Carl Fritz.

On Monday at the Foothills Par 3 Golf Course, the Men’s League gross winners were Ken Kingston, Rollie Harris and Bill Taylor. The net winners were Ken Kingston, Ken McCarrarel and Guy Follett. The team winners were Dale Palmershei­m, Harold Hartman, Earl Holtkamp and Pablo Montano.

Dale Hoch teamed with Joyce Martin, Jack Schenck and Clark Ziegler for a scrambling 6-under 66 to win the Moose Lodge #1627 weekly play at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Tuesday morning. Second place went to the team of Georgann Hagness, Frank Domantay, Carl Christense­n and Bud Hammond.

On Tuesday at The Foothills Par 3 Golf Course, the Ladies League gross winners were Loretta Schnieder, Linda Wilder and Alice Macht. The net winners were Wilma George, Lind Wilder and Lori Tremblay. The team winners were Cheryl Close, Va Loy Roe, Irene Davis and Pat Marquardt.

At the Fortuna Del Oro Golf Course, in the Tuesday Men’s League play, the winners were Ken Burris, Rick Craig, Karl Lang and Bob Verkerk. Brent Black, Karl Bold, Dave Dickey and Del Olson taking second place. The third-place finishers were Rick Erickson, Jim Stein Jr. Jensen and Kevin Burnside.

On Tuesday at the Las Barrancas Golf Course, the men’s Silver gross winners were Brian Healy, Steve Gartner and Frank Russell. The net winners were Bob King, George Noonan and Brian Healy. The team winners were Dennis Wagner, BJ McKay, Don Flint and Jim O’Donley.

Garry Sletten was the top winner in the “Pinky’s Pick” mixers weekly play at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Wednesday morning. The remaining eight winners were Cliff Weber, Nancy Holmes, Ann Weber, Sam Samples, Carol Roland, Pam Blair, Gerrald Larrabee and Bill Slade. The skin winners were Garry Sletten, Bill Beulke, Sam Samples, Gerald Larrabee, Ann Weber, Joan Webb, Mike Mikkola and Nancy Holmes.

On Wednesday at the Foothills Executive Golf Course, the Men’s League gross winners were Bill Taylor, Frank Russell and Rollie Harris. The net winners were Larry Hudson, Jerry Denny and Pablo Montano. The team winners were Danny Hevton, Paul McLaughlin, Buth Robdeau and Steve Strahm.

On Thursday at the Foothills Executive Golf Course, the ladies gross winners were Val Willick, Loretta Schnieder and Susan Clarke. The net winners were Val Willick, Joan Costello and Mary Ann Muldoon. The team winners were Pam Dunn, Melanie Sehn, Rita Gravelle and Margo Hester.

On Thursday at the Las Barrancas Golf Course, the men’s Copper gross winners were Keith Planidin, Steve Gartner and Ray Hillier. The net winners were Steve Gartner, Ray Hillier and Wayne Fisher. The team winners were Jim Kerlee, Larry Garrett, Dennis Hammermies­ter and Jack Joseph.

On Wednesday at the Las Barrancas Golf Course, the ladies gross winners were Loretta Schnieder, Marylin Denny and Susan Bain. The net winners were Kathy Downing, Reta Boechler and Loretta Schnieder. The team winners were Sharon Burkin, Myrna Hammermies­ter, Sherry McIver and Barb Souter.

At the Fortuna Del Oro Golf Course, in the Wednesday Couples League play, the winners were Cathy Mcarthur, John Mcarthur, Greg Schaaf and Vergie Schaaf. Carl Lang, Bette Lang, Jim Ronholdt and Joan Ronholdt took second place. The third-place finishers were Dave Dickey, Lois Dickey, Jo Hamar and Paul Hamar.

On Wednesday at the Las Barrancas Golf Course, Judy Rollinson had a holein-one on the 76-yard 16th hole, using a 9-iron. There were 14 witnesses watching the shot of the day for Judy. Also, Vlasta Plesner recorded a hole-in-one at the Foothills Executive Golf Course on the second hole, and Kellen Willmore recorded her ace on the ninth hole at the Foothills Par 3 Golf Course.

At the Fortuna Del Oro Golf Course in the Thursday Ladies League, the first-place winners were Kim Chesnovar, Karen Duffy, Carole Lemley and Brenda Morden. Becky Fortie, Sally Ganter Wendy Perkins and Joyce Fehr placed second. The thirdplace finishers were Joan Ronholdt Linda Hughes, Teresa Gordon and Rose Wilson.

Jim Mitchell carried teammates Gordon Little, Ron Sterler and Dick Michael to a first-place finish in the “Krogman Follies” play at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Tuesday morning. Second place went to the team of Ray Butler, Wayne Gunion, Dennis Powell and Tom Mozley. Fred Hancewiez, Frank Koch, Reg Marshall and Ken McNeal placed third.

Bob Rehn was the top winner in the Mesa Del Sol Men’s Golf Associatio­n individual point quota play Friday morning. Cheyenne Schultz took second place. Ron Stirler, Bill Griffith and Tom McIntire were tied for third place.
