The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office would like to notify the community that a convicted sex offender has a new address in the Foothills.

Christopher Michael Allyn, 45, is now residing at 11701 S. Hunter Ave. He is described as 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

In September of 1990, Allyn was convicted by the Clark County Superior Court in the State of Washington of third-degree rape. His victim was a 16-yearold female known to him.

He was sentenced to one year in jail with six months suspended, provided that he complete a sex offender treatment program at the Center for Behavioral Interventions in Portland, Oregon and 24 months of community supervision.

Then in February of 1991, he was sentenced to 12 months in jail with 180 days credit, and one year of community supervision for violating the conditions of his probation by failing to complete the sex offender outpatient treatment program.

Allyn was convicted in February of 2000 for failure to register, for which he served one year in jail.

Most recently, in August of 2004, Allyn was again convicted by the Yuma County Superior Court for failure to register. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 36 months of probation. Allyn is not on parole or probation.
