The next DHMGA Tournament will be played at the Desert Hills Golf Course on Saturday May 12 and will be a two person best ball format. Members may contact Bruce Clark for entry or additional informatio­n at (928)-5806436.

Sue Morgenthal­er and Pam Upayokin were tied for first place in the first flight of the “Mutt and Jeff” Monday Ladies play at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course. Third place went to Marilyn Cotter. In the second flight Mary Ann Muldoon and Gina White were tied for first place with Sally Manley finishing third.

Bob Rehn was the top winner in the Mesa Del Sol Monday summer league quota play with Ray Butler taking second place. Third place went to George Christophe­r with Claude French taking fourth place.

On Tuesday at the Las Barrancas Golf Course the Men’s League gross winners were Brian Healy and Bill Taylor. The net score winners were Bob Selle and John Emerson. The team winners were Carl Fritz, Frankie Allen, Greg Beatie and Harold Poppen.

Bob Rehn, David Henager, Jack Parker, Wayne Gunion, Henry Browning, Pam Herring, Garry Sletten and Steve Parrish were the winners in the Wednesday Morning “Pinky’s Pick” mixed play. The skin winners were Steve Parrish, Bill Slade, George Chistopher, David Henager, Kris Sockwell, Wayne Gunion, Bob Blair, Bob Rehn and Jack Parker. Ken McNeal played well but did not reach the winners circle this week.

On Wednesday at The Foothills Executive Golf Course the men’s league gross score winners were Rollie Harris and Bill Taylor. The net score winners were Chuck McNeill and Larry Nicholson. The team winners were Rich Ellis, Roger Sprague, Phil Smith and Buddy Hartley.

In the Mesa Del Sol Men’s Wednesday Twilight League, 2-man net best ball play, Tom Norkiewicz and Garrett McKeeman shot a best ball 29 and won on a scorecard playoff over Justin Taylor and Fred Blohm who were the second place winners. Reggie Feller and Mike Havens were the third place winners with Jon Green and Josh Hodges winning fourth place. Tom Norkiewicz took a narrow lead over Jerry Crump in the Spring Points Race. Next week’s play is a 2-man net best ball, with play beginning at 5:00.

On Thursday at the Las Barrancas Golf Course the men’s League gross score winners were Brian Healy, Larry Garrett, and Carl Fritz. The net score winners were Fred Okerholm, Jack Joseph, and Lee Estes.

In the Nakasawa Farmer’s Fling at the Mesa del Sol Golf Course Keith Neinast aced the fifth hole to lead the team of Rocky Curtis, Bob Schmit and Mark Pancrazi to a low gross score of 59. The team of Eric Isaacson, Brent Wolfe, Greg Smith and Steve Jensen were the low net winners in the first flight. In the second flight Bill, Adam, Pat and Mike Daily shot a 66 to win low gross. Dusty Townsend, Jim Daily, Josh Hodges and Pete Figueroa won low net. In the third flight Kevin Dooley, Daniel Plaza, Edgar Gomez and Andy Hancock shot 64 to win low gross. Donny Gray, Mike Underhill, Ryan Lee and Jake Casey won low net. The proceeds from this tournament went to local FFA organizati­ons.

Steven Parrish was the overall gross score pro points winner in the Mesa Del Sol MGA play on Friday morning with Jack Parker winning the overall pro points net division. David Doherty was the second place net winner with Bob Rehn winning third place.
