Democrats’ hate doesn’t see Trump positives

-

One can’t help but be amused (between spurts of anger) at how the Democrats, particularly the hardcore Trump haters, have reacted to the positives that have occurred since Trump’s election. Either his accomplishments aren’t good enough for them or they only happened because of the groundwork laid by Obama and his administration. Laughable, anserine claptrap! Their nonsensical rhetoric even subordinates the significance of the upcoming meeting with North Korea.

What the results of the Korean meeting will be is unknowable, but the fact that it’s happening, in and of itself, is a significant accomplishment. The release of the three Americans that were being held captive is a plus, achieved without paying a ransom (a la Obama). Can our Democrat friends explain what provoked Mr. Kim to release them?

Then there is Iran/Khamenei. This regime is a big problem, not only for the Mideast but for the rest of the world as well, and Trump has not “wimped out” (a la Obama) in dealing with them. Trump understands that you can’t bargain in good faith with someone who has clearly stated their desire to destroy us. Being “nice” won’t work, so the Iran nuclear deal, which is not only terribly flawed but not approved by Congress or signed by Iran, is gone.

Khamenei won’t attack the United States — he knows better. He will try and create as much havoc as he can by sponsoring terrorist groups around the world. When the negotiations with Mr. Kim have concluded, I’m hoping Trump gets “serious” with Iran. Khamenei needs a firm kick in the rear, but the Democrats will probably find fault with that too.

What is really reprehensible is the Democrats/liberals who have allowed their hate for Trump, and their attempts to destroy him, to take precedence over what’s in the best interests of our nation.
