As a public service, the Yuma Sun is publishing the names and photographs of the following people sought by the Yuma County Adult Probation Department or the U.S. Marshals Service as probation absconders. If you have information that would lead to the arrest of any of them, call surveillance officer Frank Silva at (928) 373-1690. If you know any of their immediate locations, call local law enforcement agencies or dial 911. Do not attempt to apprehend them yourself.
• Amber Elise Tafoya — female, 31. Height 5 feet 9 inches, weight 156 pounds. Brown hair, brown eyes. Alias: Amber Tafoy. Tattoos: a sparrow, hearts, “Mom” and “Dad” on the chest; “Cierra” on the neck; a dog on the right thigh; “Xavier” on the left wrist, and “Blessing” on the right forearm. Her probation violation is for the original conviction of possession of drug paraphernalia involving methamphetamine, a Class 6 felony.
• Tanya Marie San Diego — female, 34. Height 5 feet 2 inches, weight 180 pounds. Brown hair, brown eyes. Her probation violation is for the original conviction of taking the identity of another, a Class 5 felony.
• Nathan Joseph Nerva — male, 29. Height 5 feet 9 inches, weight 183 pounds. Black hair, brown eyes. Tattoos: “QUP” on the left arm, “Nizzy” on the left shoulder, “Pride” and a paw print on the left forearm, “Native” on the right forearm, and “Fort Yuma” on the neck. His probation violation is for the original conviction of criminal damage, a Class 6 felony.
• Phillip Bermudez — male, 39. Height 5 feet 6 inches, weight 140 pounds. Black hair, brown eyes. Alias: Felipe Bermudez. His probation violation is for the original conviction of forgery, a Class 4 felony.
