Hank Browning posted nine quota points to take first place in the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course Monday Quota play. David Henager was second with eight quota points, Bob Blair was third and Sandy Blair was fourth.
On Tuesday at the Las Barrancas Golf Course, the men’s silver league gross winners were Rollie Harris and Brian Healy. The net winners were Conrad Eisenach and Greg Beatie. The team winners were Rick Wilcox, John Cullen, Larry Villa and Mark Parks.
David Doherty was the top winner in the “Pinky’s Pick” play at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Wednesday morning. The remaining winners were Bill Griffith, Hank Browning, Bill Dowding, Jim Mitchell, Bill Beulke and Steve Parrish. The skin winners were Raymond Butler, Hank Browning, George Christopher, Bill Griffith, David Doherty, Jim Mitchell and Bob Blair.
On Wednesday at the Foothills Executive Golf Course, the men’s league gross winners were Bill Taylor and Al Smith. The net winners were Paul McLaughlin and Jim Hartley. The team winners were Buddy Hartley, Larry Rocci, Dennis Wagner and Ken Kingston.
In the Mesa Del Sol Men’s Wednesday Twilight League two-man net ‘Big Cup, Little Cup’ combined total format play, Robert Vaughan and Ernie Jiminez won in a scorecard playoff with a 66. Justin Taylor and Spencer Blohm were second, also with a 66. John and Seth Hodges were third at 67. Jerry Crump maintained his lead in the Spring Points Race.
On Thursday at the Las Barrancas Golf Course, the men’s copper league gross winners were Mark Hammons and John Cullen. The net winners were Al Pittman and Rollie Harris. The team winners were Jack Joseph, Ed Gish and Larry Nicholson.
In the Mesa Del Sol Friday Twilight League two-person net Chapman play, Mark Ford and John Holbrook won with a 29. Matt Keddy and Anthony Martinez tied for second with Brian Anderson and Karl Semler taking third place. Play begins each Friday at 5 p.m.
Steve Parrish was the gross division winner in the A-flight of the Mesa Del Sol MGA play on Friday morning with Pinky Throckmorton winning the net division play. In the B-flight, Al Johnson was the gross division winner with Bob Blair winning the net division. Frank Manson was the second-place net finisher followed by Don Kruse in third.
