Consequences needed for those who neglect yards

-

I have a problem with many people in my neighborhood. Several people in my neighborhood have decided not to have the time to clean their houses and try to make their house look nice. There’s trash all over their front lawn, their grass is dry and long because they don’t want to mow their lawn, their trees and plants are also dry and dead because they don’t want to water them. All these details I’m giving are details that make our neighborhood look bad and it makes the other person’s house look bad because theirs look good but the ugly house makes theirs look bad.

I think it’s very important to our community that we keep our neighborhoods clean and to always keep it like that. It makes the neighborhood look nice and clean and makes it look like a safe place when it’s clean. It is important to me because our house is nice and clean but the houses around us make our house look dirty too. It is also important to me because when people want to come buy a house at our neighborhood maybe they won’t buy one because of the mess there is and there is no order in our neighborhood.

I think the only way we can solve this problem is by asking the city of Yuma that whoever doesn’t clean their front lawn every month, has to pay $500. Which will be a consequence for the person who was too lazy call a landscaper or for them to do it themselves to clean their front lawn.

Sincerely,

ROBERT SANCHEZ Yuma
