Chicken on the Run to move; new pain doctor sets up here
Pet groomers open new shops
Many readers have been wondering what’s happening with the Mandarin Garden, 12415 S. Frontage Road. The Chinese restaurant has closed and the building is in the process of being transformed into another restaurant.
Chicken on the Run, now located at 12471 S. Frontage Road, will be moving into the building which is only a few doors down the road. The goal is to open in early August.
Restaurant owners Randy Gould and Renee Loomis are currently renovating the space. They envision a family friendly environment with karaoke and drinks for the adults. They will be offering a variety of daily specials and will be opening with new specials which will be announced later.
Chicken on the Run is already famous for its fried chicken, prime rib and pig roasts. But Randy and Renee are looking forward to offering the community more menu items at the new restaurant.
Chicken on the Run has been growing through the years. It first opened next door, at the site of the burnt-out Tomo Sushi and Terayaki. Then they moved into its current location, and now they’re moving into bigger and better digs. We wish them the best! *** There’s a new pain management doctor in Yuma. His name is Dr. Charles R.
