2 YEARS LIVING WITH PERSONAL “BOTCHED” RESULTS

-

Q Dear Dr. Bass,

About 2 years ago I had my breast surgery. I was a small B cup and my goal was a beautiful, natural C cup. I did the whole process of seeing a couple docs and thought everyone was the same, so I went with the cheapest price. WRONG!! My breast look like they start under my neck, they look too tall and too round, fake looking. My doctor says there is nothing wrong with my results. I am very unhappy. I have my own version of BOTCHED. My girlfriend is your patient, same procedure, looks beautiful and recommended I contact you. Would you help me? – Upset and Embarrassed.

A Dear U.E.,

Of course I will help you. Sorry that your plastic surgery experience didn’t make you feel happy and beautiful. I have seen many patients who were in the same situation as you and who were thrilled with the revision results. When I see you at your consultation we will discuss what you would like your breast to look like. Then assess your results, determine if the implants were placed under the muscle or over the muscle, review the shape and size of implants used and develop a revision plan to give you that look that you have been waiting for. We can have it all corrected within a short month. Plastic surgery is a personal choice and price can be a factor. For those of my readers that are starting this process for any procedure you are interested in, I would like to recommend that you ask your friends who they used, look at your friends results and make sure you like the results. If not, keep asking. During consultation- look at plenty before and after photos of that surgeon, make sure you feel comfortable with the surgeon so that you can speak freely before and afterwards. If you feel you have found the best but the fee might be more than you expected, then wait and save until you have the needed amount, or other means that work best with your financial situation. In the long run, you will avoid possibly having to pay double as Ms. U.E. is finding out. – Dr. Bass
