Amparo Sosa, 77, of Yuma, died July 19, 2018, at A Special Place Care Home in Yuma.

Born Sept. 21, 1940, in Bard, Calif., she was a homemaker.

A viewing will be 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Yuma Mortuary Chapel, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn.

Franklin Lee Smith

Franklin Lee Smith, 40, died July 18, 2018, at his home in Winterhaven.

Born Oct. 28, 1977, in Yuma, he was a security guard for the Quechan Tribe.

A funeral service will be 5 p.m. Monday at Quechan Big House.

Born Feb. 19, 1941, in Aberdeen, Wash., he was a cement bacher man, construction.
