Chamber to hold Lunch & Learn Media Panel in South County
The Yuma County Chamber of Commerce is holding a Lunch & Learn Media Panel at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the San Luis Library, 1075 N. 6th Ave.
This event is open to all businesses, whether or not they are members of a chamber. The local media panel will be comprised of every media outlet in town, including Spanish, social media, public radio and more.
Attendees will learn to craft their organization’s message to the right audience, on the right platform, at the right time, at the right price. The local media panel will inform businesses on what they need to know about their outreach capabilities and will be available to answer questions.

Automated thinning, weeding presentation to include field demo
The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension and Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture will be hosting an “Automated Thinning and Weeding Technologies Field Demo” on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Yuma Agricultural Center, 6425 W. 8th St.
Attendees will be able to see the latest technologies demonstrated and talk with company representatives.
