Socialist societies don’t survive over time

-

Ignorance is on display by people who were once a part of the bedrock of American society. Unable to sway the adult class of Americans who have seen history play out before their eyes, the left is successfully suborning the academic and political classes into a romance with the miserably failed ideology of Socialism. The educational system today is indisputably in the grasp of Socialist educators, and to say the Democratic party has made a hard left turn into Socialism is a dramatic understatement.

Easily more than 100 million people have been slaughtered at the altar of Socialism and Communism in the past century. To not know that and not recognize that is ignorant. No country on earth has successfully embraced Socialism and survived over time. The ones that have tried are either failed states or are in the process of failing. Russia and China are deemed to be the most shining examples of socialist ideology and both have had to adopt very capitalistic elements into their economic processes to survive. I could speak of other countries all around the globe that have taken a fling at Socialism but in every case they rely upon capitalist elements of their cultures to survive and support what is left of their dream of Socialism.

If the Socialists would have you believe that it is only the “One Percent” that truly benefit from capitalism, they count on you being ignorant of Socialist societies. In every case, Socialist leaders believe that since they are the pure of heart, they deserve to live like kings while the ignorant masses struggle to live.

College students wearing Che Guivera T-shirts to show their support are ignorant of the reputation that he had even among his own people. He was brutally sadistic and his own people did not admire him, they feared him. How many people did Mao slaughter to bring his version of Socialism and Communism to power in China? If you do not know the answer, then you are ill informed of one of the most bloodthirsty chapters of human history. LARRY MALLORY Yuma
