Weldon Buck Brown, 58, a former resident of Yuma, died July 21, 2019, at HonorHealth in Scottsdale.

Born Oct. 16, 1960, at Fort Yuma, he was a stocker.

A funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at Quechan Church of Nazarene, 2149 H. St., Winterhaven., with services to follow at 5 p.m. at Quechan Big House. Cremation will be at dawn Saturday at Quechan Cemetery.

Thelma Jean Jones

Thelma Jean Jones, 83, of Yuma, died July 19, 2019, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

Born Nov. 10, 1935, in Waterloo, Iowa, she was a registered nurse.

A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Aug. 10 at First Christian Church, 3261 S. Avenue 6E.

Born March 12, 1947, in Wichita, Kan., she was a retired special education high school teacher at Gila Ridge High School.

Born Jan. 27, 1969, in Helena, Ark., he was a construction worker.

A memorial service will be 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 3 at American Legion Post 56, 1490 W. 3rd St.
