Chamber mixer set for Wednesday
The Yuma County Chamber of Commerce will hold this month’s business networking mixer from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday at Yuma Investment Group, 182 E. 16th St., Suite D.
Guests are invited to bring their business cards and get ready to meet many local organizations and entrepreneurs and create new partnerships. The mixer will feature food, beverages, music, prizes and networking opportunities.
Everyone is welcome to attend. No cost to attend, but guests are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to donate for the Yuma Community Food Bank.

Nominations for Athena Intl. Award due Dec. 20
The Yuma County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2019 Athena International Award sponsored by National Bank of Arizona. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, Dec. 20.
All nominees must meet each of the following criteria:
Be a member (or employee of a member) of the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce
Demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in her business or profession
Exemplifies exceptional mental and moral qualities and ethics
Provide valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in her community
Actively assist women in their full leadership potential outside of their normal work activities

Chamber also accepting nominations for Small Business Person of the Year
The Yuma Chamber of Commerce is also accepting nominations for 2019 Small Business Person of the Year.
The award will go to an outstanding individual who operates a successful business and has “demonstrated a positive influence and plays a vital role in building our community and its economy.”

Yuma Nephrology Clinic recognized for quality lab services
