• Whitney Cummings revealed how NBC sent her to Human Resources for wishing a co-worker Merry Christmas. I swear, we’re gradually losing our Christmas traditions. Last night a group of Christmas carolers gathered outside my front door, which was very nice, but they were lip-syncing.

• National Geographic reports that archaeologists digging under Nazareth say they’ve found an ancient carpenter’s house which may have been Jesus’ boyhood home. What a week for antiquarians. Archaeologists digging in Pompeii announced they’ve found the home where Keith Richards grew up.

• Los Angeles residents faced a shortage of Christmas trees for sale this year. The most popular Christmas tree in West Hollywood is a six-foot-tall marijuana plant sold at local pot dispensaries. Once you light it, three wise men, seven dwarfs, Bing Crosby, Santa, and colorful reindeer will appear.

Nancy Pelosi is holding the articles of impeachment, choosing to not send them to the Senate. She says the reason is to ensure that there is a fair trial. In view of how the House conducted what they called “hearings,” that smacks of abject hypocrisy! And for her to think she can gain some sort of leverage to use against the Senate is laughable. She can’t manipulate something over which she has no control.

The impeachment, without being decided in the Senate, is simply an accusation; it means little or nothing. To delay giving the articles to the Senate drags this travesty out longer. Pelosi knows Trump WANTS a trial--he wants to be fully exonerated--and she knows he will get exactly that in a fair trial, exposing the Democrat-controlled hearings for what they were, a partisan witch hunt that failed miserably.

Once again, Pelosi and her Democrat lemmings are ignoring what is in the best interests of our nation, placing partisan politics ahead of the American people.

I am fed up with encountering animals in stores and most stores do nothing. Today a woman was letting her whimpering puppy run around a store. When I confronted her about not having the animal in the store she claimed it was a service animal, and then said it was an emotional

Your editorial in the Sun, on the day before Christmas, asked for our comments re Christmas music. My wife and I agree, Christmas is about the celebration of the Birth of Christ, our Savior. We find it awful how “commercialism” has “hijacked” the true meaning of Christmas. Our favorite Christmas music would be .... Christmas music...Joy to the World, Silent Night, Away in the Manger. Favorite video is “Christmas Eve Tran-Siberian Orchestra, 1998. We watched it this Christmas Eve as we do every year. It is a wonderful video, always enjoyed. Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
