As a public service, the Yuma Sun is publishing the names and photographs of the following people sought by the Yuma County Adult Probation Department or the U.S. Marshals Service as probation absconders. If you have information that would lead to the arrest of any of them, call surveillance officer Frank Silva at (928) 373-1690. If you know any of their immediate locations, call local law enforcement agencies or dial 911. Do not attempt to apprehend them yourself.
• Jairo Antonio Avila, male, 30. Height 5 feet 8 inches, weight 183 pounds. Brown hair, brown eyes. Alias: Jairo Castaneda. Tattoos: bear on the abdomen, Aztec warrior on left and right arms and “JA” on the left forearm. His probation violation is for the original conviction of misconduct involving weapons, a Class 4 felony.
• Anthony James Betts, 32. Height 5 feet 9 inches, weight 175 pounds. Black hair, brown eyes. Alias: “X Youngbones,” “X Scrappy”. Tattoos: half sleeve on the left arm, “Anthony II” on the right arm and “R” on the right leg. His probation violation is for the original conviction of attempted aggravated domestic violence, a Class 6 felony, and Criminal Trespassing per Domestic Violence, a Class 1 misdemeanor.
• Ronald Richard Amavisca, 52. Height 6 feet, weight 235 pounds. Brown hair, brown eyes. His probation violation is for the original conviction of possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class 6 felony.
• Victor Manuel Leon, male, 30. Height 5 feet 9 inches, weight 190 pounds. Black hair, brown eyes. Tattoos: Three dots on the left middle finger, and “A” above both knees. His probation violation is for the original conviction of criminal damage, a Class 6 felony.
