In the Friends of Patrick Velarde Scramble, the team of Marc Myers, Rick Coleman, Keith and

Kenny Brown won with a net score of 53. Richard Gothard, Donny Bennett, Peter Sterenberg and

Ray Face were second at 55. Carlos Zaragosa,

Kim Sanders, Ramon Gill and Frank Romero were third at 56. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, played and donated to support Patrick.

At Las Barrancas in the Silver League, Brian Healy and Art McLaughlin won gross. Harold Poppin and Greg Beatie were the net winners. Jack Joseph, Bob Lecorchick, Johnny Campbell and Ken Kingston were the team winners.

In the Foothills Men’s League, Dennis Wagner, Greg Beatie and Al Smith were the gross winners. Roger Sprague, Ken Kingston and Conrad Eisenach won net.

In the Mesa del Sol Monday quota event, Bob Lauer took first with 3.55 points. Sam Sample was second at 2.22. Bill Slade was third and Jerry Timm fourth.

In Pinky’s Picks and Mesa del Sol, Bill Slade took first, with Hank Browning second and Sam Sample third.

Men’s Twilight League 4 quota scramble, Denney McKay and Mike Daily won low net with a 31. Patrick Farrell and Greg Cullison won a scorecard playoff for second at 33. Ben Armijo and Ben Fasavalu were third. Chris Harmon and John Holbrook won gross with a 32. John Holbrook maintained the lead in the summer point race. Next week’s event is a designated driver net scramble.

In the Mesa del Sol Mixed Friday League cha-cha-cha format, David Doherty, Steve Olafson, Sam Samples and Michael Brick won with a team total 129. Larry Colao, Marilyn Cotter, Garry Sletten and Blas Pedrero were second at 137. Steve Parrish, Carl Johnson and Phyllis Mashburn were third at 141.
