WHEN: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. WHERE: Yuma Civic Center, 1440 W. Desert Hills Drive GOING ON: Yuma Regional Medical Center and the City of Yuma have teamed up with Vitalant to host a blood drive. Donors will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies, but not for the presence of COVID-19. All donors must wear a mask or face covering. Advance appointmen­ts are required to help maintain social distancing.

WHEN: Sunrise tailgate event. Park opens at 6 a.m., balloons launch at sunrise WHERE: West Wetlands Park – Enter from 1st Street and 22nd Avenue

GOING ON: Due to COVID-19 restrictio­ns, all events will be drive-through or tailgate events – the public will not be permitted on the field or launch area.

COST: Admission is a canned food donation for the Yuma Community Food Bank.

GOING ON: Due to COVID-19 restrictio­ns, all events will be drive-through or tailgate events – the public will not be permitted on the field or launch area. Drive through and watch the balloons inflate as they are tethered and illuminate­d to music. COST: Admission is a canned food donation for the Yuma Community Food Bank.
