Patricia “Tweety” Mae Short

Navember 26, 1965 – January 3, 2021

Patricia Mae Short (Tweety), 55, passed away on January 3, 2021 at her home in Yuma, Arizona. She was born on November 26, 1965 in Parker, Arizona.

She worked for the Quechan Tribe as an HR Clerk. She enjoyed going to the movies, reading books, sewing, loved to dance to Bird songs and country music. She was also a huge Los Angeles Chargers fan. She graduated from San Pasqual High School in 1983, after high school, she attended Job Corp. She was an amazing Mother, Aunt, Daughter, and Friend. She would always help relatives or friends if they needed a helping hand with anything.

She is survived by her children; Owen and Amanda Barley. Brothers; Patrick Two Hearts, Jerome Two Hearts Jr., And numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins

She is preceded in death by her Mother; Orlinda Two Hearts, Father; Emory Short, Step-Father; Jerome Two Hearts Sr., Brothers; Darin Short, Jeremy Two Hearts, Grandparents; Orvis and Junie Miguel Peck.

Family Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. Public viewing is from 11:00 a.m until 1:30 p.m at the Yuma Mortuary on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Tribal Rites will be held at the Quechan Cry House beginning Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 3:00 a.m. with Cremation 5:00 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Owen Barley, Isaiah Short, David Aragon, Luis Alvarez, Cesar Alvarez, Xavier Osbourne, Brandon Marks and Jacob Roosevelt.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerome Two Heart Jr., Patrick Two Hearts, Chano & Morales Escalanti, Jordan Joaquin, Charles Escalanti, Jesse Escalanti.
