Kyrie Irving returned from his personal “pause” to score 37 points in his first game with Kevin Durant and James Harden but Brooklyn gave up 42 to Collin Sexton and lost in double overtime to Cleveland.

Mavericks 124, PACERS 111:

Kristaps Porzingis posted season-high totals of 27 points and 12 rebounds in leading Dallasto a victory at Indiana. Luka Doncic added 13 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists as Malcolm Brogdon had 26 points for the Pacers.

76ERS 117, Celtics 109:

Joel Embiid had 42 points and 10 rebounds and Tobias Harris scored 22 points to lead Philadelph­ia over Boston. Embiid topped 40 points for the second time in three games. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 26 points.

HAWKS 123, Pistons 115 (OT):

Trae Young scored 38 points, John Collins had 31, and Atlanta rallied to beat Jerami Grant and Detroit 123-115 in overtime. Grant had a career-high 32 points, including all of Detroit’s nine points in overtime, to continue his hot start.

Heat 111, RAPTORS 102:

Kendrick Nunn scored 28 points and injury-plagued Miami pulled away in the second half for a win over Toronto. Fred Van Vleet had 24 points and nine assists for the Raptors, whose three-game winning streak ended.

Magic 97, TIMBERWOLV­ES 96:

Cole Anthony hit a hurried 3-pointer at the buzzer and Orlando stunned Minnesota to stop a six-game losing streak. Minnesota led by 20 before the Magic slowly chipped away in the second half. D’Angelo Russell scored 19 points for the shorthande­d Timberwolv­es.

Houston hosts Phoenix in a matchup of Western Conference teams. The teams match up Wednesday for the first time this season.

Spurs at WARRIORS (late):

Stephen Curry leads Golden State into a matchup against San Antonio. He currently ranks third in the NBA scoring 28.2 points per game. The Warriors and Spurs match up Wednesday for the first time this season.

Kings at CLIPPERS (late):

Sacramento visits the Los Angeles Clippers after De’Aaron Fox scored 43 points in the Kings’ 128-123 loss to the Pelicans on Sunday. The Clippers defeated the Kings 138-100 in their last matchup on Jan. 15.
