Lorraine C (Desrosiers) Fielding, 93, formerly from Worcester, Mass., Townsemd, Mass., Melendy Pond., NH and Yuma, AZ, passed away at her daughters home in Yuma, AZ under the loving care of Arizona Best Hospice. Lorraine was born on March 18, 1928.

Lorraine had a successful career as a Beautician at Georgie's Beauty Shop in Fitchburg, Mass. and in her home in Townsend, Mass. She began painting as a hobby in the late 1950's and became an avid artist exhibiting in many venues in New England and Arizona. She won many awards for her different styles and would explore any new ones. She was one of the founding members of Yuma's Mountain Shadow Art Associatio­n participat­ing in many events especially the Art Trails and the Art on the Commons in Townsend Mass.

Lorraine made friends easily and enjoyed hosting parties for family and friends. She and Jack were snowbirds from 1984 until his death in 2006. She loved traveling. She will be greatly missed.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Elva (Maynard) and Louis H. Desrosiers. Her husband, John Fielding; her Brother, Louis J. Desrosiers; sisters, Irene (Ray) Olejniczak, Elva Smith, Barbara and Earl Montville and MaryLou and Sweede Erickson.

She is survived by daughters, Marleen Leviton and Diane Fielding of Yuma, AZ, Lorraine (George) Dixon of Brookline, NH. Sister, Claire (Harry) Reed of Newberry Park, CA.; Ronnie (Elva) Smith of Sutton, Mass., in-laws, Alice (Fielding) McGregor of Groton, Mass. and Ann (Fielding) and John Walsh of Groton, Mass. Grandchild­ren, Garrett (Heidi) Johnson of Belmont, NH, Tammy Deleo-Roy of Kittery, Maine, Seth (Amber) Johnson of Denmark, Maine and Marc Dixon of Brookline, NH. 4 great grandsons, 8 great granddaugh­ters and 2 great great grandsons. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

We would like to thank Arizona Best Hospice for their excellent care of our mother and ourselves.

On April 10, 2021 we will be having a Celebratio­n of Life at her home between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm in the Foothills and this summer at The Camp in NH.
