Allen Morlock

February 6, 1956 - April 5, 2021

Allen Morlock - 65, Yuma AZ passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 in a Yuma Regional Hospital.

Allen Theodore Morlock was born February 6, 1956, son of Theodore (Ted) and Lydia (Martin) Morlock in Jamestown ND.

Allen was raised and educated in Pettibone ND. He graduated from Jamestown College in music education. Allen taught music at various locations in ND. He moved to Yuma, AZ in 2005. He began teaching music at OC Johnson and Alice Byrne elementary schools. He played for the choir at Arizona Western College and was the organist and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Allen shared his love of music with many. He taught piano lessons in ND and AZ for the past 50+ years. Allen also had an incredible talent for decorating beautiful cakes for many occasions. Allen was a very kind-hearted, generous person who lived life well.

Allen is survived by: sisters, Delilah (Mervin) Thompson, Wisconsin Dells, WI and Connie (Steven) Irey, Minot ND. He has four nephews, Tilman, Tom, Troy and Eric and one niece, Stephanie. He has four surviving aunts, Tabea, Ida, Esther and Norma. There are many surviving cousins.

Allen is preceded in death by: parents, Ted and Lydia, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, April 9th, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church in Yuma, AZ. The service will be livestreamed and may be viewed at http://tinyurl.com/AMorlock

Memorials may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church or the music program at either OC Johnson or Alice Bryne School.
